La Mina

Imagine waking up in the morning and seeing and hearing the birds with the Pacific Ocean as a back-drop. There are several national parks in the immediate area (San Manuel Antonio National Park, Balleno Marine National Preserve, Corcovado National Park, and Cano Island Reserve). The government is improving the Coastal Highway bringing Manuel Antonio even closer (where lots sell for 2-3 times here). This area of the southern Pacific zone of Costa Rica is extremely unique and attractive, because the mountainous rain forest meets the Pacific Ocean at
La Mina.

Within a few hundred meters from each lot in the development, the area contains tremendous unspoiled rainforest, rivers, small waterfalls, streams, and an abundance of wildlife. The lots vary in size, but all have access to creeks and waterfalls. The water on these properties is fantastic, as the rain from the Pacific Ocean travels several thousand miles before it hits land at La Mina.

The developer, John Preston, is committed to perpetual environmental protection. Along the entire development by the creeks, there are more than 12 acres of environmental easements and pathways for owners to enjoy the forests, creeks and waterfalls.
